Dr. Kim Gorman will present "My Personal Struggle with Anorexia" during the next Forester Lecture at Huntington University.

The lecture will be held on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. in Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

Gorman is an adjunct professor of psychiatry at the Indiana University School of Medicine and specializes in the areas of body image issues and eating disorders.

She earned her doctorate in counseling psychology in 1999 from the University of Kentucky.

She has worked as a licensed psychologist and has also served as adjunct professor for graduate psychology students at Ball State University.

The Forester Lecture Series is designed to bring interesting individuals and topics to the attention of students and the regional community.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

The Forester Lecture Series is coordinated by Dr. David Alexander, assistant professor of philosophy at Huntington University.
