With Love Left Over, a family-operated organization that provides BMX training and competition for special needs children in foster care, will sponsor an Off Road Trail Challenge Nov. 3 at the Kin-Ti-On-Ki Trail at Salamonie Reservoir's Lost Bridge West Recreation Area.

The competition has both a running event and a mountain bike race.

The running event, which begins at 10 a.m., includes a 10K run for individuals and an 18K run open to both individuals and teams of four or more members. Winners in the team competition will be determined by the times of the team's top four runners. The winning team will receive a traveling trophy and awards will be given to the top three finishers in each category.

The mountain bike race will begin at noon. Competitors can choose either a 10K individual race or a 32K race that can be entered as a team or as an individual. The winning team will receive a traveling trophy and awards will be given to the top three in each category.

All who enter will receive a $500 gift card from RedStar World Wear, a two-night stay at one of 14 Bluegreen resorts and a Tech T-shirt.

With Love Left Over is also seeking donations from businesses. The business making the largest donation will receive the "Biggest Heart" traveling trophy.

Proceeds will be used to acquire a building that will allow the organization to move its BMX program indoors so that it can be operated all year.

To register for either event, visit withloveleft over.org/offroadchallenge/.

Registration will also be accepted starting at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event.
