Ron Bradford, of Warren, shows off the giant pumpkin he grew and carved, then brought to Huntington to show off to his fellow employees at PHD. Bradford says he was inspired by a picture to carve this pumpkin and a second one his wife has on display at the Warren Post Office, where she works. He says he used a potato peeler, a wood chisel and other woodcarving tools to create the face, which sports a red onion for eyeballs.
