Juergens Do-It Center, in Huntington, will sponsor the St. Peter Lutheran Quilters Tree at the eighth annual "Christmas at the Forks."

The holiday open house will be held at the Historic Forks of the Wabash on West Park Drive on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 and 2.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Trees and wreaths will be decorated by area businesses and organizations.

This is the fifth year that Juergens has sponsored the Quilters Tree.

The Lutheran Quilters meet weekly during the school year to sew quilts for Lutheran World Relief.

They have been making quilts from donated materials for 11 years.

The quilts are sent throughout the world.
