Andrews church will serve Christmas dinner to the community on Dec. 8

The Bethesda Free Will Baptist Church, in Andrews, will serve a free Christmas dinner to residents of the Andrews area on Saturday, Dec. 8.

The meal will be served from noon to 2 p.m. at the church, which is located at 116 S. Main St. in Andrews. The menu will include turkey, ham, fried chicken and an assortment of other food.

This is the second year for the dinner. Last year, the church served meals to 113 people, with an additional 56 people receiving carry-out meals. Remaining food was taken to the New Life Fellowship Community Food Ministry and Malta House, in Huntington, where more than 200 additional people were served.
