Ivy Tech Community College - Northeast is offering courses in Huntington County for the spring semester schedule, beginning Jan. 14.

Classes will take place at Huntington North High School, 450 MacGahan St., and Huntington WorkOne, 1314 Flaxmill Rd.

Courses being offered in Huntington County include:

• Introduction to college writing.
• English composition.
• Concepts in mathematics.
• Essentials of algebra I.
• Fundamentals of public speaking.
• Reading strategies for college.
• Introduction to psychology.
• Introduction to microcomputers.

Many are introductory courses.
