Thursday, December 27, 2012 7:54 AM
Forty-eight new probationary troopers have been assigned to Indiana State Police districts across the state after taking oaths of office Dec. 12 in Zionsville.
The new troopers are members of the 72nd Indiana State Police Academy, where they received approximately 930 hours of training over the past five months.
Three of those troopers have been assigned to the Fort Wayne District, which includes Huntington County. They are Caleb Hatfield, of Anderson; James Stevens, of Columbia City; and Joshua Thrasher, of Fort Wayne.
