The Girl Scouts and the American Red Cross are hosting "Give Blood. Get a Cookie." blood drives in communities across Northern Indiana during the month of January.

After a blood donation appointment, donors will be treated to Girl Scout cookies.

On Jan. 14, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., a blood drive will be held at Evangelical United Methodist Church, located at 1000 Flaxmill Rd., in Huntington.
