Information about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will be provided during a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 6:30 p.m. in the library of Huntington North High School.

Current and prospective college students must submit the FAFSA if they want to apply for federal and state financial aid.

Many colleges and universities, especially public institutions, also require the FAFSA.

The meeting at Huntington North is open to all seniors and parents of seniors who plan to attend college during the 2013-14 school year.

Jeff Berggren, senior vice president of enrollment management at Huntington University, will answer questions about filling out the application and explain what information is needed to complete the application.
Students and parents must sign up for a FAFSA personal identification number (PIN).

The applications must be completed online. They must be submitted by March 10.
