Thursday, February 28, 2013 7:26 AM
Huntington House is seeking volunteers to supervise clients.
Volunteer supervisors are needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., although each individual volunteer would work only once or twice a month.
Huntington House is also seeking donations of items for a woman and her three children who are moving from the shelter into transitional housing. Needs include bunk beds, a futon or sofa bed, kitchen table and chairs, cooking pans and a toaster.
Huntington House, located at 576 William St., Huntington, provides short-term immediate housing for homeless families, women and children.
For information or to volunteer, call Carolyn Ray, Huntington House manager, at 358-0748 or 224-1675.
