Parents of children who intend to enroll in kindergarten at the Huntington County Community Schools for the 2013-14 school year are invited to attend an upcoming orientation session.

Parents and children should attend the session at the child's home school.

Information about the registration process will be explained to parents at these sessions.

Children who turn 5 before Aug. 1, 2013, are eligible to enroll in kindergarten this fall.

All immunizations must be up to date. In addition, parents will be asked to provide proof of residence and a birth certificate.

Kindergarten orientation sessions are:

Andrews Elementary School - April 25, 6 to 8 p.m.

Flint Springs Elementary School - April 18, 6 to 8 p.m.

Lancaster Elementary School - April 25, 6 to 8 p.m.

Lincoln Elementary School - May 7, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Northwest Elementary School - April 23, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Roanoke Elementary School - April 23, 6 to 8 p.m.

Salamonie Elementary School - April 17, 6 to 8 p.m.
