Maggie Gottfried joined the staff of the Downtown Salon, Huntington, on Feb. 19.

Gottfried, a Huntington native, says she has six years of cosmetology experience, having previously worked at another salon in town.

"I also have my cosmetology license from Masters in Cosmetology, in Fort Wayne," she adds.

Gottfried's services include full-service color, waxing, razor and dry cuts and hair extensions.

She is currently accepting new customers.

"I do take walk-ins, but it would be best if customers make an appointment first," Gottfried notes.

She operates during regular business hours on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
