Miller earns Phi Beta Kappa status

Karissa Miller of Huntington has been named a top student and a member of Phi Beta Kappa, at Butler University.

Miller is a biology major.

She was nominated for the top student recognition program for her outstanding character, scholarship and leadership.

She is also one of 33 students inducted into Butler University's chapter of national honor society Phi Beta Kappa.

Students are considered for this honor based on their grade point average in liberal arts studies, typically ranking in the top 10 percent of arts and sciences majors.
