Property tax payments to be accepted on May 4

The Huntington County Treasurer's office will be open on Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to noon to accept property tax payments.
The office is located on the first floor of the Huntington County Courthouse. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Property taxes can be paid in person in the treasurer's office and at several banks round the county; by mail to 201 N. Jefferson St., Room 104, Huntington, IN 46750; or online or by phone with a credit or debit card at www.huntingtontax.net or 800-809-5849.
A convenience fee is charged when using a debit or credit card.
Tax statements were mailed on April 5.
Anyone who has not received a statement should call the treasurer's office, 358-4860.
Huntington County property taxes are due on May 10.
The treasurer's office will be closed for approximately a week after the due date in order to process payments.
