Clements memorial event on Aug. 10 will include motorcyle ride other events
Ride starts at Yeoman Park, other events at Legion Post 85Monday, August 5, 2013 7:36 AM
The annual Specialist Chad Clements Memorial Ride and Fund-raiser will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10.
Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. at Yeoman Park, 900 E. Market St., Huntington, with kickstands up by 11:30 a.m.
There is a cost per rider or passenger and all vehicles are invited to participate in the escorted ride.
Throughout the day, there will be a bake sale, a free meal for those who participate in the ride, 50/50 drawings, quickie boards and raffle tickets for a cooler/picnic table. Those events will take place at American Leigon Ppost 85, 1410 S. Jefferson St., Huntignton.
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., an auction will be held and musical entertainment from "Timeline" will be from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to local children's charities and troops overseas.
