High school students can apply for research grants

The Indiana Academy of Science announces that Junior Research grants are available for Indiana high school students in grades nine through 12.
The academy supports the efforts of students as they design, conduct and evaluate independent research projects.
To be considered, students must prepare a proposal according to the guidelines, which can be found at www.indianaacademyofscience.org.
Questions regarding proposals or the review process can be emailed to Dr. Larry Mordan, student mentor, high school Research Grants Committee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline for proposal submission is Oct. 25.
Applicants and the teachers will be informed by mail or email of the final decision, which will be made by mid-December.
The maximum allowable grant is s $300.
