Betty L. Craver, 90, of Fort Wayne, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at St. Anne's Home, Fort Wayne.

She was a past district and local president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and a state representative and volunteer at the VA Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.

She was born March 31, 1922, in South Fork, PA, to George E. and Sarah E. Guy Pahel. She married Emory W. Craver, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice (Darryl) Smith, of Huntington, and Jeanine Usher, of Fort Wayne; a son, Emory L. (Susan) Craver, of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A service was held on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, Fort Wayne. Burial was at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the VA Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
