Dorothy Jean Burry, 91, of Warren, IN, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at 6:45 p.m. at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Mrs. Burry graduated from Lancaster High School in 1939. She has worked in management in Fort Wayne as well as Chicago for International Harvestor. She formerly resided in Bluffton Indiana, once retired she resided in Santa Claus. Dorothy attended the Lancaster Church of the Brethren.

She was born Aug. 15, 1921, in Huntington County. She married Harold Burry on Oct. 2, 1943 in Fort Wayne. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a stepbrother, James Denman, of Warren; and a stepsister, Imogene Gilbert, of Andrews.

Calling is today, Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N Matilda St., Warren, where a service will follow at 3 p.m., with Gerald Moreland officiating. Interment will be in the Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne.
