Rosamond A. "Rose" Johnson, 89, of Markle, IN, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012.

Mrs. Johnson had been employed as an office administrator by United REMC.

She was born July 25, 1923, in Bluffton to Virgil A. and Meryl Wilson DeArmond. She married Richard W. Johnson, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Mike (Connie) Johnson, of Uniondale; three brothers, Bob DeArmond, of Florida, and Dick DeArmond and Charlie DeArmond, both of Bluffton; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill St., Ossian. A service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, Ossian.
