Roberta C. Culbertson, 90, a former resident of Van Buren, IN, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at 4:50 a.m. at Heritage Pointe, in Warren, IN.

Mrs. Culbertson was a graduate of Danbury Township High School in Marblehead, OH.

She was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Danbury, OH, to Ludwig and Eda Bredehoft Wahlers. She married Dale Culbertson on June 14, 1946. Her husband preceded her in death in 2007.

Survivors include three daughters, Jane (Terry) McDaniel, of Marion; Joan Walter, of Elkhart; and Rita (Mark) Kuetemeyer, of Waterville, OH; a brother, Gordon Wahlers, of Port Clinton, OH; a sister-in-law, Diane Wahlers, of Athens, GA; six grandchildren, Janelle McDaniel, of Gas City; Scott (Laura) McDaniel, of Avon; Ryan (Kim) Walter, of Denver, CO; Brad (Anne) Walter, of Knoxville, TN; and Nicholas Kuetemeyer and Gregory Kuetemeyer, both of Columbus, OH; and five great-grandsons.

Calling is Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Dr. Tom Mansbarger will officiate. Interment will be at the Van Buren Cemetery, Van Buren.
