Philip B. Burry, 64, of Marion, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at the Wesleyan Health Care Center, in Marion.

Mr. Burry gradated from Geneva High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a carpenter, cabinet maker and furniture maker.

He was born July 10, 1948, in Wilmore, KY, to Vilas and Catherine Burry. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Burry.

Additional survivors include a son, Jason Burry; two stepsons, Douglas Baker and Clayton Baker, both of Huntington; and three brothers, Stephen (Linda) Burry and Paul (Mary) Burry, both of Berne, and Mark Burry, of Greensburg.

A graveside service, with military honors, was held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, with Rev. Keith Rupp officiating.

Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, Marion, was in charge of arrangements.
