Bonita M. Hoch, 84, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Heritage Pointe, in Warren, IN.

Mrs. Hoch was a 1946 graduate of Van Buren High School. She was a 78- year member of the Van Buren United Methodist Church, Van Buren. She was a member of the U.R. Welcome Sunday School Class of that church and sang in the church choir for many years.

She was born Feb. 24, 1928, in Marion to Albert and Donna Bartholomew Duncan. She married Charles E Hoch on May 9, 1948, in Van Buren. He survives in Marion.

Additional survivors include a son, Randy Hoch, of Upland; two daughters, Paula (Warren) Brose, of Westerville, OH, and Jacquelyn Duggan, of Upland; and four grandchildren, Shannon Duggan, of Fishers; Brittany Brose, of Memphis, TN; and Natalie Hoch and Lance Hoch, both of Swayzee.

Calling is Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Van Buren. A funeral service will be Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Leon Pomeroy officiating and Rev. John Parks assisting.
