Richard L. "Dick" Bowman, 65, of Midwest City, OK, and having family members in Zanesville, IN, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.

Mr. Bowman, a former resident of Bluffton, hosted two television shows for archery and fishing. He played in two rock bands in the Lander, WY, area.

He was born Dec. 9 1947, in Buffton to Jewel "Joe" and Lillian Bowman. He is survived by his stepfather and mother, Eugene and Lillian Bowman McCartney, of Zanesville. He is also survived by his wife, Evelyn Bowman.

Additional survivors include a son, Jonathan Bowman, of Evansville; three stepdaughters, Gabrielle (Allen) Roberts, Michelle Tidler and Jennifer (Matt) Thomas, all of the Oklahoma City, OK, area; two brothers, Michael Bowman, of Arizona, and Rod Miller, of Zanesville; a sister, Linda Bowman Mauller, of South Bend; and eight grandchildren.
