Arden Baker, 57, of Syracuse, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Baker moved to Syracuse in 1998 from California. He had worked as an independent truck driver, mechanic, logger and general handyman. He attended the Millersburg Church of Christ.

He was born Nov. 15, 1955, in Huntington to Joe and May Baker.

Survivors include a son, Mark (Missy) Baker, of Cromwell; a daughter, Lola Mae Baker, of Syracuse; a brother, Bill Baker; and a sister, Sarah Baker.

Calling is Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service following at 1 p.m., at the Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458E-1000N, Syracuse. Rev. David Main will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.
