Kenneth "Kenny" Jay Thacker, 22, of Elkhart, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Thacker worked in the construction field.

He was born Feb. 8, 1990, in Elkhart. He is survived by his mother, Kathy Wills Long, of Logansport, and his father, Tim Thacker, of Elkhart.

Additional survivors include two brothers, Tim Thacker and Jon Thacker, both of Elkhart; and grandparents, Kenny and Karen Thacker, of Huntington, and Paul Voorde and Deb Voorde, both of Mishawaka.

Calling is Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service following at 1 p.m., at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Elkhart. Rev. Richard Conley of the First Freewill Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
