Heath D. Bumgarner, 18, of Uniondale, IN, and having ties to Markle, IN, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was a senior at Norwell High School and was employed by Novae Manufacturing Company, Markle.

He was born Dec. 17, 1994, in Wells County. He is survived by his parents, Bruce Bumgarner and Kim Brown Bumgarner.

Additional survivors include two sisters, Amber (Foster) Reed and Lacey (Nathan) Meyer; his maternal grandmother, Sue Brown; and his paternal grandmother, Deanna Bumgarner.

Calling is Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday, March 8, 2013, from noon to 8 p.m. at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, 3220 Ind.-124, Bluffton. A service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Elementary School, 3275E-300N, Bluffton. Burial will be at Horeb Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Anthis Career Center welding program or the Wells County 4-H beef program.
