Coreen Lynette Ackerman, 58, of Hartford City, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Friday, March 1, 2013, in Fort Wayne after an extended illness.

Mrs. Ackerman graduated from Blackford High School in 1973 and was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church. She drove a semi with her husband for 32 years.

She was born Feb. 9, 1955, in Hartford City to Earl M. and Mary Muree Smith. She married Charles Ackerman on Sept. 11, 1988, in Las Vegas, NV. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Matthew R. Fuller, of Goshen; five stepchildren in Missouri and Texas; and a sister, Sherry McCune, of Huntington.

No service is planned at this time.

Midwest Funeral Home and Cremation Society, Fort Wayne, is in charge of arrangements.
