Juanita Hayes, 84, of Markle, IN, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at 1:43 p.m. at the Markle Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Hayes was a former resident of Oklahoma. She was a homemaker.

She was born July 18, 1928, in Merriville, TN, to Sim F. and Mae Gaddis. She married Harvey T. Hayes on May 7, 1966, at Fort Smith, AR. He preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 2010.

Survivors include two sons, Joe (Rochelle) Hayes, of Markle, and Michael (Rachelle) Duplechain, of Louisiana; a daughter, Teresa Hernandez, of Sterling, OK; a brother, Buck Gaddis, of Tennessee; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, March 14, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a service following at 6 p.m., at Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee St., Markle. David Tilden will officiate.
