Emma J. Harris, 93, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at 9:30 p.m. at Oakbrook Village Nursing Home in Huntington.

Mrs. Harris worked for Lake County Judicial Center in Crown Point for 19 years.

She was born Nov. 30, 1919, in Huntington to Everett Lee and Leila Marie Berry Burley.

Survivors include four sons, Robert E. Harris, Jack L. (Maggie) Harris and Donald D. (Joyce Marie) Harris, all of Huntington, and Ronald W. Harris, of Wheatfield; a daughter, Donna J. Scher, of Huntington; two brothers, William (Myra) Burley, of Munster, and Arthur (Darlene) Burley, of Arizona; a sister, Esther Crotty, of Huntington; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Calling is Monday, March 18, 2013, from one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service, at McElhaney--Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, with Rev. Diana Teusch officiating.
