Katie F. Robbins, 83, of Montpelier, IN, and having ties to Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 11:35 a.m. at IU Health Blackford Hospital, Hartford City.

Mrs. Robbins attended Montpelier High School. She retired from CTS, in Berne, and attended the Bryant Wesleyan Church.

She was born Jan. 29, 1930, in Indiana to Ervin and Fern Grow Conner. She married Dan Robbins on May 9, 1956, in Huntington. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Kathy (Bill) Robbins, of Montpelier, and Tina (Duane) Terry, of Pennville; a son, Jamie (Susan) Robbins, of Montpelier; a sister, Janice (Dick) Brown, of Bluffton; two brothers, John (Rosie) McClish, of Ulvalde, TX, and Jim McClish; six grandchildren, Chelle Turner Bales, Brandy Veach, Jeffery Terry, Megan Lee, Adam Robbins and Lacy Terry Armstrong; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 22, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Paul VanCise will officiate. Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Montpelier.
