Lolita Ruth Kilgore, 93, of Marion, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Miller's Merry Manor.
Mrs. Kilgore had worked at Hill's Department Store for 10 years. She attended First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Euchre-Bunko-Canasta Club.
She was born Feb. 22, 1920, in Jonesboro to Edward and Mae Brooks Townsend. She married Morris Alvin Kilgore, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 2012.
Survivors include a daughter, Diana (William) Snodgrass, of Huntington; a son, Dean (Sharon) Kilgore, of Marion; and four grandchildren, Terrie (Bob) Bishir, of Columbia City; Jeff (Tressa) Kilgore and Mark (Marilyn) Kilgore, both of Marion; and Shelly (Greg) Bohler, of Garrett.
Calling is Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion.
A service will be held on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Jay Shady will officiate. Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
