Sister Mary Helen Rogers, OLVM, 100, a resident of Victory Noll, in Huntington, IN, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Victory Noll's Holy Family Health Care Center.
Sister Rogers entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on Oct. 28, 1941, and made her first vows on Aug. 5, 1944. She served in missions in Texas, Indiana and Colorado. She retired in 1992 to Victory Noll, where she served as a receptionist and hospitality representative.
She was born Aug. 10, 1913, in St. Louis, MO, to Joseph and Ellen Fogarty Rogers.
A vigil service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at 7 p.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Victory Noll Memorial Chapel, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., with calling one hour prior to Mass, at Victory Noll Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Victory Noll Cemetery.
