The Crestview Middle School girls' eighth grade basketball team lost to visiting Edgewood, 31-23, on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Ariene Butler paced the Cougars, 4-5, with nine points and five rebounds. Kylie Kaylor added eight points to the team's cause.

The seventh grade team also fell to Edgewood, 26-18.

Crestview, 6-3, was led by Karmen Koch's seven points and four apiece by Peyton Butler and Hollyn Anderson.
