Markle resident John Siela has self-published a book titled "Maps to Death: The Ticonderoga Experience."
The retiree wrote the work of fiction and published it Nov. 29, 2012.

The book tells the story of a man who travels to Ticonderoga after his wife is mysteriously murdered.
It is available for purchase on Amazon.com.

Siela will have a book signing on Friday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the main branch of iAB financial bank, located at 180 E. Morse St.,  Markle, IN.
