The Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team upped its win streak to seven by beating Peru, Tipton and Twin Lakes at the Peru Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 29.

The Lady Vikes, improving to 16-10, swept all three matches. They beat Peru, 25-11, 25-12, topped Tipton, 25-20, 25-17 and beat Twin Lakes, 25-13, 25-15.

Alexis Wygant had eight kills to lead the waay against Peru. Mikayla Carpenter had 10 digs, Emiley Gray served six aces and Alexa Hill had 12 assists.

Jessie Drew was the kill leader against Tipton with nine. Allyson Trout had 12 assists.

Josie Beaver had six kills to lead against Twin Lakes. Trout and Hill had 10 assists each, and Carpenter had eight digs.

Hill added five blocks.
