HU men's soccer team tops Goshen

The Huntington University men's soccer team broke a 1-1 tie with two goals nine minutes apart in the second half land went on to defeat host Goshen, 3-1, on Tuesday, Oct. 2.

After Goshen tied the contest at 1-1 with a goal in the 51st minute, Josh Codd put HU ahead to stay with a long ball at 61:53, and Paul Holliday added an insurance goal at the 70-minute mark to ice the contest and help HU improve to 6-5-2 on the season.

Kyle Van Wagoner had put HU ahead with a goal at 42:20 in the first half.

Drew Mattingly had five saves in goal for HU.
