Host Manchester gave the Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team a good fight in game one, but that was all it could muster as the Lady Vikings got out their brooms for an easy three-game sweep on Thursday, Oct. 4.

Huntington North improved its record to 17-11 with the 25-21, 25-7, 25-13 victory.

Josie Beaver supplied the offense for the Lady Vikings, generating 13 kills. Allyson Trout was there to help, dishing out 14 assists.

Alexis Wygant and Mikayla Carpenter came up big on defense, scraping up 14 and 12 digs, respectively.
