Viking JV gridders rout Jay County, 54-0

Behind a potent ground game, the Huntington North High School junior varsity football team routed visiting Jay County, 54-0, on Saturday, Oct. 13.

Charleston Dydasco ran for three touchdowns and Dan Jacobs and Adam Woods each rushed for one.

The Vikings also scored through the air, with Keenan Leichty throwing touchdowns to Kole Hale and Elliot Forth.

Huntington North's offensive effort was further aided by a punt return touchdown, courtesy of Drew Fawcett.

Lucas Johnson had an interception for the Viking defense, which recorded its third shutout of the season.

Huntington North finishes the season at 7-2.
