The Crestview Middle School girls' eighth grade basketball team lost its season-opener to Norwell, 28-16, on Tuesday, Dec. 18.

Aubrie Eckert, Ariene Butler and Madison Houser led the Cougars, 0-1, with four points each.

The seventh grade team also fell to Norwell, 29-20.

Rileigh Johnson paced Crestview, 0-1, with seven points, three rebounds and three steals. Hollyn Anderson put up six points and grabbed two rebounds, Karmen Koch scored five points, collected four rebounds and dished out three assists and Sid Kyle tossed in two points and had three boards to round out the Cougars' efforts.
