The Crestview Middle School girls' seventh grade basketball team routed visiting Churubusco, 41-14, on Thursday, Jan. 31.

Hollyn Anderson scored 12 points for the Cougars, 8-3. Peyton Butler supplied seven points and four rebounds to the team's cause, Katie Paolillo netted six points and Sydney Kyle, Emily Johnson and Megan Gilpin each added four. Peyton Harvey led the team's rebounding effort with five and Gilpin pulled down three.

The eighth grade team also won big, defeating Churubusco 35-7.

Crestview, 6-5, was led by Ariene Butler's 12 points and five rebounds, Aubrie Eckert and Jennifer Bartels' five points, Mackenzi Cannici's four points and Kylie Kaylor's three points and four assists.
