Huntington County Baseball to kick off season with parade Friday

Huntington County Baseball kicks off its 2013 season on Friday, April 26, starting with a parade at 6:15 p.m.
The parade will start at Viking Lane, (Huntington North High School) and travel to Homier Field.
At 7 p.m., a short opening ceremony will be held. Huntington North student Rylie Bowman will sing the national anthem and the first pitch will be tossed by the Mike Felton family.
Felton was actively involved in Huntington County Baseball prior to his death.
Following the opening ceremony, the first slate of games will be played.
Team pictures will be taken for some teams, while the remaining teams will have their pictures the following day, Saturday, April 27.
At 9 p.m., the evening will close with a fireworks show.
