CMS boys' track teams finish eighth at NELMSC meet

The Crestview Middle School boys' sixth and seventh grade track and field team came in eighth place at the Northeast Lakes Middle School Conference track and field meet on Tuesday, May 14.

Jordan Yohe's third place finishes in the 400-meter dash and high jump highlighted the Cougars' day.

The boys' eighth grade track and field team also finished eighth at the meet.

A third place finish came from the 1,600-meter relay team of Josh Wiles, Dawson Hertel, Matt Guhl and Dillon Valenti, who broke the old school record in the race with a clocking of 4:05.58.

Other bronze finishes for Crestview came from Dillon Valenti and Mark Hultz in the 1,600-meter run and the 110-meter hurdles, respectively.
