HNHS netboys take 1-4 loss to Logansport

A victory from the second doubles team of Andrew Smith and Nick May was the only bright spot for the Huntington North High School boys' varsity tennis team as it absorbed a 1-4 loss to visiting Logansport on Thursday, Sept. 12.

Smith, a senior, and May, a freshman, had little trouble downing Jarod Cole and Matt Jennings, 6-2, 6-2.

The Vikings are now 2-8 on the season.

Matt Sieberns and Graham Sereno in the first doubles match lost to Dustin Clements and Kaleb Overway, 3-6, 4-6.

In singles play, Viking second singles player Wyatt Nave pushed Logansport's Nathaniel King before falling 4-6, 5-7. Tommy Bolinger at first singles got zipped by Bryan Zehner, 0-6, 0-6, and Cameron Buzzard at third singles fell to Lucas Eastburn, 3-6, 1-6.
