Grace too much for Forester spikers

Host Grace College proved to be too much for the Huntington University volleyball team to handle and the Foresters lost in straight sets, 14-25, 8-25, 16-25, on Friday, Sept. 13.

While Huntington, 2-8, 1-4 in the Crossroads League, registered twice as many team blocks, six to three, Grace more than made up for it by logging 44 kills to the Foresters' 20.

Melissa Grossman led a balanced attack with six kills while Heather Medich and Ashlyn Wendling each posted five.

Jensen Carnahan dished out 16 assists and Codie Morey posted 10 digs to pace the defense.
