Hosler scores pair as Viking booters down Kokomo

Alex Hosler scored a goal in each half to lead the Huntington North High School boys' varsity soccer team to a 4-3 win over visiting Kokomo on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Sacha Thirion scored a goal and had two assists and Trey Sorg had a goal and an assist as the Vikings improved to 4-5-1 on the season.

Sorg got the Vikings on the board first, and Hosler used assists from Thirion and Sorg to put the locals up 2-0 on the way to a 2-1 halftime lead.

Thirion scored his 11th goal of the season and Hosler used a Thirion pass to put the Vikings up 4-1 in the second half before Kokomo made it close.

HNHS goalkeeper Chad Wingo had three saves in collecting the win.

The Viking junior varsity lost 2-1 to fall to 2-6-2 on the season.
