Grace shoots down HU women booters

The Huntington University women's soccer team was outshot badly by host Grace College and lost 3-0 on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The Lancers booted 27 shots, 13 on goal, to just eight for the Foresters, with three on frame, dropping Huntington to 3-8, 2-1 in the Crossroads League.

Jalisa Thayer sent Grace into halftime with a 1-0 lead and Meredith Hollar added to it in the second half with a pair of late goals that sealed the win.

Forester goalie Caitlin Adams curbed the damage the Lancers could have done by making a season-high 10 saves in a complete game performance.
