HNHS swimboys lose to Oak Hill

Freshman Cody Barton got the lone win for the Huntington North High School boys' swim team as it fell to host oak Hill, 122-61, on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Barton edged out Oak Hill's Ryan Miller by 2-100ths of a second to win the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:14.47 for the Vikings' lone top finish.

Walter Hacker added a pair of second place finishes for HNHS, 1-1. The junior was runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly and the 100-yard backstroke.

Zane Cozad took a pair of third-place finishes and Josh Young got another for the Vikings. Cozad got his in the 200-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle, and Young took the bronze spot in the 50-yard freestyle.

The quartet of Cozad, Barton, Hacker and Young placed second in the 200-yard medley relay.
