The four homes featured on the Tri Kappa Housewalk this Sunday, Oct. 4, will get some extra glamour courtesy of several Huntington businesses.

Housewalk guests will also be tempted by sweet treats offered at the Kappa Konfections Shoppe, which will be set up in one of the four homes.

This year's featured homes are those of Jim and Jeni Scheiber, 3170E-900N, Roanoke; Richard and Becky Hawley, 1111 N. Jefferson St.; Don and Jo Patmore, 6636N-300W, Huntington; and Ron and Marcia Rivers, 219 S. Main St., Roanoke.

The Scheiber and Patmore homes are both fairly recent construction, while the Rivers home is one of Roanoke's historic structures. The Hawley home is also recent construction, but incorporates elements of the historic home that stood in the same place until being destroyed by a fire resulting from an explosion next door.

The homes can be visited in any order. Tickets are available at each of the homes or in advance from Tri Kappa members, Dorothy's Hallmark and all locations of Bippus State Bank and First Federal Savings Bank.

The homes will be graced by fresh and silk flowers from Wehr Into Flowers; Town & Country Flowers, Gifts and Interiors; The Huntington Nursery; and Designs by Pam. In addition, Smith Furniture has supplied furniture, wall art and other decorative pieces for the homes.

The Kappa Konfections Shoppe will be set up in the Patmore home.

All four homes will be open from noon to 5 p.m.
