Robrock's net domination leads spikers past DeKalb

Maddy Robrock dominated at the net to help the Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team sweep past host DeKalb, 3-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

Robrock, a junior, put down 11 kills and added four blocks as the Lady Vikings won 25-18, 25-18, 25-15, to improve to 16-7 on the season.

Kaitlyn Stephan facilitated the offense with 29 assists and Kalee Platt hammered in seven aces.

Rileigh Johnson sparked the defense with 15 digs.

The Huntington North junior varsity won, 2-0, on scores of 25-17, 25-14.

Maddy Laymon put down six kills and had eight digs and Macy Campbell had six kills and four aces as the JV improved to 12-8.

Morgan Robrock added 21 assists.

The Lady Vike frosh improved to 15-2 on the year with a 2-0 triumph on scores of 25-5, 25-13.

Preslee Williams led in kills with six, while Alexa Spahr had five assists and Ashley Higgins added three aces.

Victoria Myers had six digs.
