Lady Vike spikers breeze past Norwell

Kaitlyn Stephan passed out 35 assists as the Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team breezed past visiting Norwell in three games, 25-9, 25-9, 25-14, on Thursday, Oct. 5.

Josi Barscz had 13 kills and Kalee Platt had five assists as HNHS rolled to its 23rd win against eight losses on the season.

Rileigh Johnson led the defense with 15 digs.

The Lady Vikes’ junior varsity won 2-1, losing the first 24-25, but taking the next two, 25-19, 15-11.

Lauren Trickle had eight kills and Morgan Robrock facilitated the offense with 19 assists. Taylor Reust had four aces.

On the defensive side, Macy Campbell had seven digs.

The JV record is 16-13.

The high-flying freshmen continued their winning ways with a 2-0 triumph to bring its season to 23-3.

Maddison Levy had seven kills and Alexa Spahr had eight assists.

Victoria Myers had 10 digs.
